Founded by HDR Global Trading Limited (which in turn was founded by former bankers Arthur Hayes, Samuel Reed and Ben Delo) in 2014, BitMEX is a trading platform operating around the world and registered in the Seychelles.
Meaning Bitcoin Mercantile Exchange, BitMEX is one of the largest Bitcoin trading platforms currently operating, with a daily trading volume of over 35,000 BTC and over 540,000 accesses monthly and a trading history of over $34 billion worth of Bitcoin since its inception.

Unlike many other trading exchanges, BitMEX only accepts deposits through Bitcoin, which can then be used to purchase a variety of other cryptocurrencies. BitMEX specialises in sophisticated financial operations such as margin trading, which is trading with leverage. Like many of the exchanges that operate through cryptocurrencies, BitMEX is currently unregulated in any jurisdiction.

How to Sign Up to BitMEX

In order to create an account on BitMEX, users first have to register with the website. Registration only requires an email address, the email address must be a genuine address as users will receive an email to confirm registration in order to verify the account. Once users are registered, there are no trading limits. Traders must be at least 18 years of age to sign up.
https://preview.redd.it/0v13qoil3cc41.jpg?width=808&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e6134bc089c4e352dce10d754dc84ff11a4c7994
However, it should be noted that BitMEX does not accept any US-based traders and will use IP checks to verify that users are not in the US. While some US users have bypassed this with the use of a VPN, it is not recommended that US individuals sign up to the BitMEX service, especially given the fact that alternative exchanges are available to service US customers that function within the US legal framework.
How to Use BitMEX
BitMEX allows users to trade cryptocurrencies against a number of fiat currencies, namely the US Dollar, the Japanese Yen and the Chinese Yuan. BitMEX allows users to trade a number of different cryptocurrencies, namely Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Dash, Ethereum, Ethereum Classic, Litecoin, Monero, Ripple, Tezos and Zcash.
The trading platform on BitMEX is very intuitive and easy to use for those familiar with similar markets. However, it is not for the beginner. The interface does look a little dated when compared to newer exchanges like Binance and Kucoin’s.
Once users have signed up to the platform, they should click on Trade, and all the trading instruments will be displayed beneath.
Clicking on the particular instrument opens the orderbook, recent trades, and the order slip on the left. The order book shows three columns – the bid value for the underlying asset, the quantity of the order, and the total USD value of all orders, both short and long.
The widgets on the trading platform can be changed according to the user’s viewing preferences, allowing users to have full control on what is displayed. It also has a built in feature that provides for TradingView charting. This offers a wide range of charting tool and is considered to be an improvement on many of the offering available from many of its competitors.
https://preview.redd.it/fabg1nxo3cc41.jpg?width=808&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=6d939889c3eac15ab1e78ec37a8ccd13fc5e0573
Once trades are made, all orders can be easily viewed in the trading platform interface. There are tabs where users can select their Active Orders, see the Stops that are in place, check the Orders Filled (total or partially) and the trade history. On the Active Orders and Stops tabs, traders can cancel any order, by clicking the “Cancel” button. Users also see all currently open positions, with an analysis if it is in the black or red.
BitMEX uses a method called auto-deleveraging which BitMEX uses to ensure that liquidated positions are able to be closed even in a volatile market. Auto-deleveraging means that if a position bankrupts without available liquidity, the positive side of the position deleverages, in order of profitability and leverage, the highest leveraged position first in queue. Traders are always shown where they sit in the auto-deleveraging queue, if such is needed.
Although the BitMEX platform is optimized for mobile, it only has an Android app (which is not official). There is no iOS app available at present. However, it is recommended that users use it on the desktop if possible.
BitMEX offers a variety of order types for users:
  • Limit Order (the order is fulfilled if the given price is achieved);
  • Market Order (the order is executed at current market price);
  • Stop Limit Order (like a stop order, but allows users to set the price of the Order once the Stop Price is triggered);
  • Stop Market Order (this is a stop order that does not enter the order book, remain unseen until the market reaches the trigger);
  • Trailing Stop Order (it is similar to a Stop Market order, but here users set a trailing value that is used to place the market order);
  • Take Profit Limit Order (this can be used, similarly to a Stop Order, to set a target price on a position. In this case, it is in respect of making gains, rather than cutting losses);
  • Take Profit Market Order (same as the previous type, but in this case, the order triggered will be a market order, and not a limit one)
The exchange offers margin trading in all of the cryptocurrencies displayed on the website. It also offers to trade with futures and derivatives – swaps.

Futures and Swaps

A futures contract is an agreement to buy or sell a given asset in the future at a predetermined price. On BitMEX, users can leverage up to 100x on certain contracts.
Perpetual swaps are similar to futures, except that there is no expiry date for them and no settlement. Additionally, they trade close to the underlying reference Index Price, unlike futures, which may diverge substantially from the Index Price.
BitMEX also offers Binary series contracts, which are prediction-based contracts which can only settle at either 0 or 100. In essence, the Binary series contracts are a more complicated way of making a bet on a given event.
The only Binary series betting instrument currently available is related to the next 1mb block on the Bitcoin blockchain. Binary series contracts are traded with no leverage, a 0% maker fee, a 0.25% taker fee and 0.25% settlement fee.

Bitmex Leverage

BitMEX allows its traders to leverage their position on the platform. Leverage is the ability to place orders that are bigger than the users’ existing balance. This could lead to a higher profit in comparison when placing an order with only the wallet balance. Trading in such conditions is called “Margin Trading.”
There are two types of Margin Trading: Isolated and Cross-Margin. The former allows the user to select the amount of money in their wallet that should be used to hold their position after an order is placed. However, the latter provides that all of the money in the users’ wallet can be used to hold their position, and therefore should be treated with extreme caution.
https://preview.redd.it/eg4qk9qr3cc41.jpg?width=808&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=c3ca8cdf654330ce53e8138d774e72155acf0e7e
The BitMEX platform allows users to set their leverage level by using the leverage slider. A maximum leverage of 1:100 is available (on Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash). This is quite a high level of leverage for cryptocurrencies, with the average offered by other exchanges rarely exceeding 1:20.

BitMEX Fees

For traditional futures trading, BitMEX has a straightforward fee schedule. As noted, in terms of leverage offered, BitMEX offers up to 100% leverage, with the amount off leverage varying from product to product.
However, it should be noted that trading at the highest leverages is sophisticated and is intended for professional investors that are familiar with speculative trading. The fees and leverage are as follows:
https://preview.redd.it/wvhiepht3cc41.jpg?width=730&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=0617eb894c13d3870211a01d51af98561907cb99

https://preview.redd.it/qhi8izcu3cc41.jpg?width=730&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=09da4efe1de4214b0b5b9c7501aba5320e846b4c
However, there are additional fees for hidden / iceberg orders. A hidden order pays the taker fee until the entire hidden quantity is completely executed. Then, the order will become normal, and the user will receive the maker rebate for the non-hidden amount.

Deposits and Withdrawals

BitMEX does not charge fees on deposits or withdrawals. However, when withdrawing Bitcoin, the minimum Network fee is based on blockchain load. The only costs therefore are those of the banks or the cryptocurrency networks.
As noted previously, BitMEX only accepts deposits in Bitcoin and therefore Bitcoin serves as collateral on trading contracts, regardless of whether or not the trade involves Bitcoin.
The minimum deposit is 0.001 BTC. There are no limits on withdrawals, but withdrawals can also be in Bitcoin only. To make a withdrawal, all that users need to do is insert the amount to withdraw and the wallet address to complete the transfer.
https://preview.redd.it/xj1kbuew3cc41.jpg?width=808&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=68056f2247001c63e89c880cfbb75b2f3616e8fe
Deposits can be made 24/7 but withdrawals are processed by hand at a recurring time once per day. The hand processed withdrawals are intended to increase the security levels of users’ funds by providing extra time (and email notice) to cancel any fraudulent withdrawal requests, as well as bypassing the use of automated systems & hot wallets which may be more prone to compromise.

Supported Currencies

BitMEX operates as a crypto to crypto exchange and makes use of a Bitcoin-in/Bitcoin-out structure. Therefore, platform users are currently unable to use fiat currencies for any payments or transfers, however, a plus side of this is that there are no limits for trading and the exchange incorporates trading pairs linked to the US Dollar (XBT), Japanese Yen (XBJ), and Chinese Yuan (XBC).
BitMEX supports the following cryptocurrencies:
  • Bitcoin (XBT)
  • Bitcoin Cash (BCH)
  • Ethereum (ETH)
  • Ethereum Classic (ETC)
  • Litecoin (LTC)
  • Ripple Token (XRP)
  • Monero (XMR)
  • Dash (DASH)
  • Zcash (ZEC)
  • Cardano (ADA)
  • Tron (TRX)
  • EOS Token (EOS)
BitMEX also offers leverage options on the following coins:
  • 5x: Zcash (ZEC)
  • 20x : Ripple (XRP),Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Cardano (ADA), EOS Token (EOS), Tron (TRX)
  • 25x: Monero (XMR)
  • 33x: Litecoin (LTC)
  • 50x: Ethereum (ETH)
  • 100x: Bitcoin (XBT), Bitcoin / Yen (XBJ), Bitcoin / Yuan (XBC)

Trading Technologies International Partnership

HDR Global Trading, the company which owns BitMEX, has recently announced a partnership with Trading Technologies International, Inc. (TT), a leading international high-performance trading software provider.
The TT platform is designed specifically for professional traders, brokers, and market-access providers, and incorporates a wide variety of trading tools and analytical indicators that allow even the most advanced traders to customize the software to suit their unique trading styles. The TT platform also provides traders with global market access and trade execution through its privately managed infrastructure and the partnership will see BitMEX users gaining access to the trading tools on all BitMEX products, including the popular XBT/USD Perpetual Swap pairing.

The BitMEX Insurance Fund

The ability to trade on leverage is one of the exchange’s main selling points and offering leverage and providing the opportunity for traders to trade against each other may result in a situation where the winners do not receive all of their expected profits. As a result of the amounts of leverage involved, it’s possible that the losers may not have enough margin in their positions to pay the winners.
Traditional exchanges like the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) offset this problem by utilizing multiple layers of protection and cryptocurrency trading platforms offering leverage cannot currently match the levels of protection provided to winning traders.
In addition, cryptocurrency exchanges offering leveraged trades propose a capped downside and unlimited upside on a highly volatile asset with the caveat being that on occasion, there may not be enough funds in the system to pay out the winners.
To help solve this problem, BitMEX has developed an insurance fund system, and when a trader has an open leveraged position, their position is forcefully closed or liquidated when their maintenance margin is too low.
Here, a trader’s profit and loss does not reflect the actual price their position was closed on the market, and with BitMEX when a trader is liquidated, their equity associated with the position drops down to zero.
In the following example, the trader has taken a 100x long position. In the event that the mark price of Bitcoin falls to $3,980 (by 0.5%), then the position gets liquidated with the 100 Bitcoin position needing to be sold on the market.
This means that it does not matter what price this trade executes at, namely if it’s $3,995 or $3,000, as from the view of the liquidated trader, regardless of the price, they lose all the equity they had in their position, and lose the entire one Bitcoin.
https://preview.redd.it/wel3rka04cc41.png?width=669&format=png&auto=webp&s=3f93dac2d3b40aa842d281384113d2e26f25947e
Assuming there is a fully liquid market, the bid/ask spread should be tighter than the maintenance margin. Here, liquidations manifest as contributions to the insurance fund (e.g. if the maintenance margin is 50bps, but the market is 1bp wide), and the insurance fund should rise by close to the same amount as the maintenance margin when a position is liquidated. In this scenario, as long as healthy liquid markets persist, the insurance fund should continue its steady growth.
The following graphs further illustrate the example, and in the first chart, market conditions are healthy with a narrow bid/ask spread (just $2) at the time of liquidation. Here, the closing trade occurs at a higher price than the bankruptcy price (the price where the margin balance is zero) and the insurance fund benefits.
Illustrative example of an insurance contribution – Long 100x with 1 BTC collateral

(Note: The above illustration is based on opening a 100x long position at $4,000 per BTC and 1 Bitcoin of collateral. The illustration is an oversimplification and ignores factors such as fees and other adjustments.
The bid and offer prices represent the state of the order book at the time of liquidation. The closing trade price is $3,978, representing $1 of slippage compared to the $3,979 bid price at the time of liquidation.)
The second chart shows a wide bid/ask spread at the time of liquidation, here, the closing trade takes place at a lower price than the bankruptcy price, and the insurance fund is used to make sure that winning traders receive their expected profits.
This works to stabilize the potential for returns as there is no guarantee that healthy market conditions can continue, especially during periods of heightened price volatility. During these periods, it’s actually possible that the insurance fund can be used up than it is built up.
Illustrative example of an insurance depletion – Long 100x with 1 BTC collateral
https://preview.redd.it/vb4mj3n54cc41.png?width=707&format=png&auto=webp&s=0c63b7c99ae1c114d8e3b947fb490e9144dfe61b
(Notes: The above illustration is based on opening a 100x long position at $4,000 per BTC and 1 Bitcoin of collateral. The illustration is an oversimplification and ignores factors such as fees and other adjustments.
The bid and offer prices represent the state of the order book at the time of liquidation. The closing trade price is $3,800, representing $20 of slippage compared to the $3,820 bid price at the time of liquidation.)
The exchange declared in February 2019, that the BitMEX insurance fund retained close to 21,000 Bitcoin (around $70 million based on Bitcoin spot prices at the time).
This figure represents just 0.007% of BitMEX’s notional annual trading volume, which has been quoted as being approximately $1 trillion. This is higher than the insurance funds as a proportion of trading volume of the CME, and therefore, winning traders on BitMEX are exposed to much larger risks than CME traders as:
  • BitMEX does not have clearing members with large balance sheets and traders are directly exposed to each other.
  • BitMEX does not demand payments from traders with negative account balances.
  • The underlying instruments on BitMEX are more volatile than the more traditional instruments available on CME.
Therefore, with the insurance fund remaining capitalized, the system effectively with participants who get liquidated paying for liquidations, or a losers pay for losers mechanism.
This system may appear controversial as first, though some may argue that there is a degree of uniformity to it. It’s also worth noting that the exchange also makes use of Auto Deleveraging which means that on occasion, leveraged positions in profit can still be reduced during certain time periods if a liquidated order cannot be executed in the market.
More adventurous traders should note that while the insurance fund holds 21,000 Bitcoin, worth approximately 0.1% of the total Bitcoin supply, BitMEX still doesn’t offer the same level of guarantees to winning traders that are provided by more traditional leveraged trading platforms.
Given the inherent volatility of the cryptocurrency market, there remains some possibility that the fund gets drained down to zero despite its current size. This may result in more successful traders lacking confidence in the platform and choosing to limit their exposure in the event of BitMEX being unable to compensate winning traders.

How suitable is BitMEX for Beginners?

BitMEX generates high Bitcoin trading levels, and also attracts good levels of volume across other crypto-to-crypto transfers. This helps to maintain a buzz around the exchange, and BitMEX also employs relatively low trading fees, and is available round the world (except to US inhabitants).
This helps to attract the attention of people new to the process of trading on leverage and when getting started on the platform there are 5 main navigation Tabs to get used to:
  • **Trade:**The trading dashboard of BitMEX. This tab allows you to select your preferred trading instrument, and choose leverage, as well as place and cancel orders. You can also see your position information and view key information in the contract details.
  • **Account:**Here, all your account information is displayed including available Bitcoin margin balances, deposits and withdrawals, and trade history.
  • **Contracts:**This tab covers further instrument information including funding history, contract sizes; leverage offered expiry, underlying reference Price Index data, and other key features.
  • **References:**This resource centre allows you to learn about futures, perpetual contracts, position marking, and liquidation.
  • **API:**From here you can set up an API connection with BitMEX, and utilize the REST API and WebSocket API.
BitMEX also employs 24/7 customer support and the team can also be contacted on their Twitter and Reddit accounts.
In addition, BitMEX provides a variety of educational resources including an FAQ section, Futures guides, Perpetual Contracts guides, and further resources in the “References” account tab.
For users looking for more in depth analysis, the BitMEX blog produces high level descriptions of a number of subjects and has garnered a good reputation among the cryptocurrency community.
Most importantly, the exchange also maintains a testnet platform, built on top of testnet Bitcoin, which allows anyone to try out programs and strategies before moving on to the live exchange.
This is crucial as despite the wealth of resources available, BitMEX is not really suitable for beginners, and margin trading, futures contracts and swaps are best left to experienced, professional or institutional traders.
Margin trading and choosing to engage in leveraged activity are risky processes and even more advanced traders can describe the process as a high risk and high reward “game”. New entrants to the sector should spend a considerable amount of time learning about margin trading and testing out strategies before considering whether to open a live account.

Is BitMEX Safe?

BitMEX is widely considered to have strong levels of security. The platform uses multi-signature deposits and withdrawal schemes which can only be used by BitMEX partners. BitMEX also utilises Amazon Web Services to protect the servers with text messages and two-factor authentication, as well as hardware tokens.
BitMEX also has a system for risk checks, which requires that the sum of all account holdings on the website must be zero. If it’s not, all trading is immediately halted. As noted previously, withdrawals are all individually hand-checked by employees, and private keys are never stored in the cloud. Deposit addresses are externally verified to make sure that they contain matching keys. If they do not, there is an immediate system shutdown.
https://preview.redd.it/t04qs3484cc41.jpg?width=808&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a3b106cbc9116713dcdd5e908c00b555fd704ee6
In addition, the BitMEX trading platform is written in kdb+, a database and toolset popular amongst major banks in high frequency trading applications. The BitMEX engine appears to be faster and more reliable than some of its competitors, such as Poloniex and Bittrex.
They have email notifications, and PGP encryption is used for all communication.
The exchange hasn’t been hacked in the past.

How Secure is the platform?

As previously mentioned, BitMEX is considered to be a safe exchange and incorporates a number of security protocols that are becoming standard among the sector’s leading exchanges. In addition to making use of Amazon Web Services’ cloud security, all the exchange’s systems can only be accessed after passing through multiple forms of authentication, and individual systems are only able to communicate with each other across approved and monitored channels.
Communication is also further secured as the exchange provides optional PGP encryption for all automated emails, and users can insert their PGP public key into the form inside their accounts.
Once set up, BitMEX will encrypt and sign all the automated emails sent by you or to your account by the [[email protected]](mailto:[email protected]) email address. Users can also initiate secure conversations with the support team by using the email address and public key on the Technical Contact, and the team have made their automated system’s PGP key available for verification in their Security Section.
The platform’s trading engine is written in kdb+, a database and toolset used by leading financial institutions in high-frequency trading applications, and the speed and reliability of the engine is also used to perform a full risk check after every order placement, trade, settlement, deposit, and withdrawal.
All accounts in the system must consistently sum to zero, and if this does not happen then trading on the platform is immediately halted for all users.
With regards to wallet security, BitMEX makes use of a multisignature deposit and withdrawal scheme, and all exchange addresses are multisignature by default with all storage being kept offline. Private keys are not stored on any cloud servers and deep cold storage is used for the majority of funds.
Furthermore, all deposit addresses sent by the BitMEX system are verified by an external service that works to ensure that they contain the keys controlled by the founders, and in the event that the public keys differ, the system is immediately shut down and trading halted. The exchange’s security practices also see that every withdrawal is audited by hand by a minimum of two employees before being sent out.

BitMEX Customer Support

The trading platform has a 24/7 support on multiple channels, including email, ticket systems and social media. The typical response time from the customer support team is about one hour, and feedback on the customer support generally suggest that the customer service responses are helpful and are not restricted to automated responses.
https://preview.redd.it/8k81zl0a4cc41.jpg?width=808&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e30e5b7ca93d2931f49e2dc84025f2fda386eab1
The BitMEX also offers a knowledge base and FAQs which, although they are not necessarily always helpful, may assist and direct users towards the necessary channels to obtain assistance.
BitMEX also offers trading guides which can be accessed here

Conclusion

There would appear to be few complaints online about BitMEX, with most issues relating to technical matters or about the complexities of using the website. Older complaints also appeared to include issues relating to low liquidity, but this no longer appears to be an issue.
BitMEX is clearly not a platform that is not intended for the amateur investor. The interface is complex and therefore it can be very difficult for users to get used to the platform and to even navigate the website.
However, the platform does provide a wide range of tools and once users have experience of the platform they will appreciate the wide range of information that the platform provides.

Be sure to read this, you will be HAPPY you did - VeChain
Guys, First let me say that I own VeChain, but this post is way beyond my personal investment but instead I’d like to provide a fresh look into why VeChain as we the best investments in Blockchain technology for years to come. The market today is all about FOMO and hype, and that’s absolutely fine, the market can continue and increase in total Cap for years to come, but eventually the blockchain and its related tokens will need serious adoption to utilize and incentivise each project. Many of the amazing projects with super high valuation (i.e.: IOTA, EOS…) are just speculation and it may be that they can deliver and all will be well.
However, VeChain is VERY different, as explained by Sunny Lu, the CEO of VeChain.
VeChain is building business relations FIRST and letting its customers dictate the path forward. With already agreements in place with the Chinese national Govt as well as many other multi billion dollar companies:

Hubei Sanxin Cultural Media Ltd.
BitOcean
Healthcare Co. Ltd
Xiamen Innov Information Technology Co Ltd
A Global Convenience Store Franchise

VeChain teams up with Madeforgoods | CN press release
VeChain affirms partnership with China Unicom
Global strategic cooperation with DNV GL
Groupe Renault teams with Microsoft and...
World’s Largest Freight Company to Use Blockchain Tech for Asset Management
PwC CN: VeChain S.E.A. becomes a portfolio company of PwC’s incubation...
Babyghost and VeChain: Fashion on the Blockchain - Nasdaq.com
China’s Largest Wine Importer Wants to Place Wine on a Private Blockchain
Bright Fishery (officially announced in weekly report vol.6)
And many more with signed NDAs (BMW rumered and more…)
VeChain is positioning itself to be in high demand and usage for years to come.
VeChain is re-banding itself as VET VeChain/Thor (instead of just VEN) and will deliver a revolutionary new Blockchain-X in Q2 of 2018. With the rebranding they announced a passive income system through proof of stake which is bound to create generous returns for anyone holding 10K of VET or more.

What I think many people are missing is the fact that even if the entire Crypto market crashed (which I don’t see happening at 700B which is still low), the VeChain/Thor will thrive due to the need for its technology and business partners which will adopt the technology in 2018. So when you are investing in VeChain, you are getting a double reward. If the Crypto market doubles in total Cap, you VET will be worth substentilaly more, but even the market has peaked, the fact that the VeChain ECO system will thrive (and it is a fact IMHO due to the many business relationships) your VET will create a very high ROI. VeChain is exceeding all expectations when it comes to its enterprise market penetration and we are all in January (testnet will be released Q2 of 2018).

The investment world is taking notice as Breyercapital and other investment firms are adding VeChain to its very limited blockchain profolio. So I know what you must be thinking, well it all sounds nice and well, so why did VeChain only go up 10x in past month and not 100x. Well the answer is simply (and I got proof). Whales (many of them Chinese) are well aware that VeChain will be a top player in the crypto work and are trying to gain as many VET as they can before the tokens gets up really high in value. And so market manipulation is happening in unprecedented fashion (never seen anything like it in any other coin) and high sell walls and continues re-buys to force the price to remain low so they can accumulate. Here is a proof: https://www.dropbox.com/s/8k6w5cen3ryu2yt/Chart.png?dl=0 Whales are trying to get enough VET so they own a Mjolnir master node which can pay close to 1,000,000.00 a year if and when the price of VET gets to $25.00 See here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/bfgixylquemgtby/VET.jpg?dl=0

I honestly believe the price will climb well above $100 USD before Q2 2018 as VeChain is a game changing blockchain company in its approach to business relations first and adoption second. This is giving everyone an opportunity to get in now before the Whales stop price manipulation (eventually they will stop since they have accumulated enough and wish to the price climb themselves). I honestly believe this is a once in a lifetime opportunity and this is the reason for my first real post in Reddit Blockchain (all my other posts are on programming Google Angular :) Now let me prove to you that the writing is on the wall.
This morning the market crashed +20% and yet you can see that ONLY VeChain is maintaining it’s price, that is because the Whales auto orders are buying everything they can below and above a certain price. As you can see from my snapshot from 8AM this morning: https://www.dropbox.com/s/2aeki6xbwdwjt75/Market.JPG?dl=0 I know many of you think that if you buy into VeChain now you are getting it at its all time high, but in a year you will look back at its current market Cap of 1.5B and you will be amazed at how undervalue it has been (this is my personal opinion and not financial advice). Now don’t take my word for it, always do your own research. I do highly recommend you watch the very popular Boxmining video on VeChain: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wH2G_44x4vw&t=767s as well as: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=42_YmVGs5MA&t=300s

and most importantly the VeChain THOR Power Forged AMA: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IWoEsBQFozM The opportunity here is mind boggling and while it goes without saying that I have a VET and would like to see it rise in price, I am sure this single post is not going to make even a small dent in its high volume trading and so I am not posting this for my own benefit but instead to open everyone’s eyes to this amazing opportunity. I am an Angular developer and I spend hundreds of hours developing open source code which is posted on GitHub for the benefit of the Angular community and so I am used to giving back (you can see my Reddit ratings and post history of years). It’s just the first time I am doing the same for the Crypto community,

Happy new year and good luck,
Sean.

Wall Street Week Ahead for the trading week beginning June 3rd, 2019

Hey what's happening wallstreetbets! Good afternoon and happy Saturday to all of you on this subreddit. I hope everyone made out pretty nicely in the market this past week, and are ready for the new trading week and month of June ahead.
Here is everything you need to know to get you ready for the trading week beginning June 3rd, 2019.

Fed officials and Trump’s latest trade threat could decide whether June starts with a market swoon - (Source)

Federal Reserve officials speaking at a policy conference may get a lot more attention than usual in the week ahead after President Donald Trump’s latest tariff threat against Mexico ramped up expectations for interest rate cuts.
Markets will also start the month of June, which is often flat for markets, coming off a painful 6.6% monthly loss in the S&P 500.
Stocks lost ground in May on worries that the U.S. trade war with China would hurt the global economy and bite into earnings growth. They will begin trading in June with new worries that tariffs on Mexico could hurt the economy and threaten a new trade deal between the U.S., Mexico and Canada.
The coming week has a full calendar of economic data, with the highlight being Friday’s May employment report. There are also monthly auto sales and Institute for Supply Management manufacturing data due Monday, and international trade data expected Thursday.
But it is the Fed that should get the most attention, with central bank officials gathering at a much-anticipated conference hosted by the Chicago Fed Tuesday and Wednesday. Fed Chair Jerome Powell will make the opening remarks at the conference, which is about monetary policy strategy, tools and communications. For months, strategists have been hoping the conference will provide insight into how the Fed intends to address sluggish inflation.
Interest in the event is even higher after the market and Fed watchers are increasingly convinced the central bank will now cut rates this year, and maybe more than once. The futures market priced in increasing expectations for two rate cuts after Trump’s threat to put tariffs on all Mexican goods if the Mexican government does not stop immigration into the U.S.
After the last Fed meeting, Powell said low inflation appears to be transitory, suggesting the Fed would not have to cut rates, but markets still anticipate a rate cut, and inflation continues to run below the Fed’s 2% target.
Michael Gapen, Barclays chief U.S. economists, said investors hoping to hear Fed officials discuss their thinking on current policy could be disappointed. Gapen said the Fed is also about nine months away from its decision on how it will frame inflation, and the conference will be more about academic views on it.
Gapen was one of several Wall Street economists Friday who changed his view on the Fed’s rate policy. He said he now sees the Fed cutting the fed funds target rate by 75 basis points in two cuts this year, with the Fed starting at 50 basis points in September. The Fed has said does not foresee any rate cuts this year, nor hikes, and has stressed it is on hold.
Gapen does not expect to hear much from Fed officials at the conference on rates, though investors will be combing through every word looking for policy clues.
“I don’t think that’s the type of setting where anyone would make a monetary policy comment in advance of an FOMC meeting,” he said. The Fed next meets on June 18 and 19.
Gapen said he went from expecting no Fed move to two rate cuts because the trade war with China has become more extended than expected; manufacturing and business spending are weakening, and because of Trump’s threat to put tariffs on Mexico if it doesn’t control immigrants heading into the U.S. over the southern border.
“It does suggest the administration is willing to pursue multiple fronts. It lowers the bar for tariffs on Europe,” he said.
Interest rates continued to slide Friday, to multi-year lows. The 2-year yield, which most reflects Fed policy, fell sharply and was at 1.93% in late trading. The 10-year yield, at 2.55% in early May, was at 2.13% Friday afternoon. The S&P 500 was down 2.6% for the week, ending its worst week of the year at 2,752.
Sam Stovall, CFRA chief market strategist, said a “May mauling usually leads to a boom in June.” Going back to World War II, whenever there was a strong start to the year, the market traditionally fell in May but rose in June. Plus, this year was the third best start through April.
John Augustine, chief investment officer at Huntington Private Bank, said beyond the trade headlines, there are quite a few market catalysts in June.
“June is going to be very event-driven. It’s going to be the Fed on June 19. It’s going to be OPEC on June 25; it’s going be the G-20 on June 29,” he said.
He added, “We’re going to stay balanced and diversified because we don’t know how things are going to come out.”

Time For A June Swoon?

Well, it finally happened. The S&P 500 Index pulled back more than 5% from its all-time high, marking the first 5% pullback of 2019. As we have discussed many times over the past two months, the odds were high that some type of pullback or even correction (10% or more off the highs) was likely after the 25% surge off the December 2018 lows.
May likely will be the first negative month of the year (down nearly 6% with two days to go) and likely will be the first time stocks closed in the red in May since 2012.
Now, seasonality hints to more volatility ahead, as June doesn’t have the best history for stocks. “We finally had a 5% pullback, but the bad news is June can be a tricky month for stocks,” explained Senior Market Strategist Ryan Detrick. “Going back the past 20 years, only September has been worse on average, and returns have been quite poor in June after a big drop in May.”
As our LPL Chart of the day shows, stocks have tended to be weak in June over various periods.
Here are six thoughts to chew on as we turn the calendar:
  • When the S&P 500 has lost 5% in May (like it could in 2019), June’s performance has been weak. May has lost 5% or more only four other times in the past 50 years, and stocks subsequently fell more than 5% in June twice.
  • However, when the S&P 500 has been up more than 10% year to date heading into June (like it could in 2019), the S&P 500 has gained 9 of the past 12 times (going back 50 years), and has been higher 1.9% on average.
  • Equity markets in Greece, Brazil, India, Argentina, and Australia are all very strong. If we were truly entering a global recession, we would see more broad-based global weakness.
  • The Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) daily put/call ratio surged to its highest level since late December yesterday, suggesting a good deal of fear is coming into the market – a necessary recipe for a bottom to form.
  • Only 31% of the components in the S&P 500 are above their 50-day moving average. This is nearing washout levels, but could need to go down to 20% before the ultimate low can form. Still, we are getting closer.
  • The American Association of Individual Investors (AAII) Investor Sentiment Survey has more than 40% bears, the highest since the start of 2019. That’s another sign fear is spiking, and pessimism could be a bullish contrarian signal.

DJIA Six Week Losing Streaks

Barring a 700+ point rally into the close (hey, anything is possible), the DJIA is on pace for its first six-week losing streak since June 2011 and the 32nd such streak going back to 1900. As of this writing, the DJIA is down 6.46% over the course of this current losing streak, which would go down as the mildest six-week losing streak for the index since June 1976 and the fifth 'mildest' six-week losing streak on record. The chart below highlights each of the DJIA's prior six-week losing streaks since 1900 and shows how much the index declined during each one of them.
While there have been quite a few six-week losing streaks for the DJIA in its history, it is not common for them to go on into a seventh week. As shown in the chart below, just seven of the DJIA's 32 prior six-week losing streaks have last seven or more weeks, and a 7-week losing streak stretching to an eighth week is practically unheard of with just one way back in 1923.

DJIA and S&P 500 Up Six Straight on June’s First Trading Day

According to the Stock Trader’s Almanac 2019 (page 86), the first trading day of June is the sixth best first trading day of all twelve months with DJIA gaining a cumulative 299.85 points since 1998. Over the past 24 years, DJIA’s first trading day of June has produced gains 70.8% of the time with an average gain of 0.04%. Sizable losses in 2002, 2011 and 2012 limit overall performance. S&P 500 has advanced 66.7% of the time. NASDAQ has been slightly weaker at 58.3% as has the Russell 2000 at 62.5%. Following three straight losses from 2010 to 2012, DJIA and S&P 500 have advanced six straight years on the first trading day of June.

Typical June Trading: Any Early Gains Tend to Fade

Over the last twenty-one years, the month of June has been a rather lackluster month for the market. DJIA, S&P 500 and Russell 1000 have all recorded average losses in the month. NASDAQ and Russell 2000 have faired better with modest average gains. Looking at the chart above, shaded areas highlight areas of strength during the month. Historically the month has opened respectably, advancing on the first and second trading days. From there the market then drifted sideways and lower into negative territory just ahead of mid-month. Here the market rallied to create a nice mid-month bulge that quickly evaporated and turned into losses. The brisk, post, mid-month drop is typically followed by a month end rally lead by technology and small-cap. This June could turn out better than average as a result of a strong start to the year and weakness in May.

Strong Starts Weak Mays Boon for June

Our previous analysis of big gains the first four months indicated weakness was in store for the merry month of May. Now that the market has indeed suffered this May the outlook for June is a boon at least historically speaking.
The table below shows the top 20 first four month gains for the for the S&P 500 with the subsequent changes for May, June, Rest of the Year, “Worst Six Months” May-October, 2nd half July-December and full year performance. While most of the full year gains are clearly logged in these big first-four-month gains, there still upside to be had in the latter part of the year.
May is weakest and May 2019 has delivered market declines so far, down -4.9% for the S&P 500 as of today’s close. However, after big starts, 7 of the 9 subsequent May declines were followed by big gains in June (highlighted in green). So, while we do not anticipate much upside over the next 5 months or so, June is set up for a boon.

Next Week's Economic Indicators - 5/31/19

This week's economic data came in split down the middle with 12 releases coming in worse than the prior period or estimates and another 12 improving. A remaining 3 met expectations or were unchanged from the previous period. We noted this same pattern in our Matrix of Economic Indicators for April. The FHFA's House Price Purchase Index for the first quarter was the first release of a shortened week coming in unchanged from the previous quarter at 1.1%. Monthly FHFA and Case-Shiller prices also came out on Tuesday with both showing slower home price growth. Later that morning the Conference Board's readings on Consumer Confidence came in stronger than both forecasts and the April reading. The final release Tuesday, the Dallas Fed's Manufacturing Activity, disappointed at -5.3 versus expectations of 6.2. On Wednesday, the Richmond Fed's Manufacturing Activity index also came in below expectations but was stronger than the April reading. The second release of Q1 GDP was revised lower but less than expected with growth for Q1 now sitting at 3.1% QoQ SAAR. While consumption growth was stronger, that came thanks in part to inflation measures falling below estimates. Retail and Inventories grew more than expected in April as seen in their Thursday release. Pending home sales were also notably weak. Friday data was better with Personal Income and Spending numbers both beating estimates. Michigan Sentiment was the final release of the week with a reading of 100.0 versus forecasts of 101.5, both below the 102.4 reported in preliminary data.
With 34 releases, the data slate picks up next week. Monday we will get some important manufacturing data including the final data for May for the Markit PMI and ISM Manufacturing. Revisions for durable goods and the broader factory orders numbers for April will follow up on Tuesday. As next week is the first week of June, on Wednesday ADP will release their employment data for the month of May. This is expected to show fewer jobs created than April. The service portions of Markit PMIs and ISM will also come out Wednesday morning. In addition to the usual Thursday weekly releases, Nonfarm Productivity and Unit Labor Costs for the first quarter are expected. The Employment Situation Report with its Nonfarm Payrolls number will round out the week in economic data on Friday morning.

Hey what's happening StockMarket!

[uncensored-r/CryptoCurrency] Be sure to read this, you will be HAPPY you did - VeChain

The following post by born2net4 is being replicated because the post has been openly removed.
The original post can be found(in censored form) at this link:

The original post's content was as follows:
BitOcean Healthcare Co. Ltd Xiamen Innov Information Technology Co Ltd A Global Convenience Store Franchise Looking Into Who Is Jiangsu Printed Electronics VeChain teams up with Madeforgoods | CN press release VeChain affirms partnership with China Unicom Global strategic cooperation with DNV GL Groupe Renault teams with Microsoft and... World’s Largest Freight Company to Use Blockchain Tech for Asset Management PwC CN: VeChain S.E.A. becomes a portfolio company of PwC’s incubation... Babyghost and VeChain: Fashion on the Blockchain - Nasdaq.com China’s Largest Wine Importer Wants to Place Wine on a Private Blockchain Bright Fishery (officially announced in weekly report vol.6) And many more with signed NDAs (BMW rumered and more…) VeChain is positioning itself to be in high demand and usage for years to come. You can learn more about the it here: What I think many people are missing is the fact that even if the entire Crypto market crashed (which I don’t see happening at 700B which is still low), the VeChain/Thor will thrive due to the need for its technology and business partners which will adopt the technology in 2018.
Here is a proof: https://www.dropbox.com/s/8k6w5cen3ryu2yt/Chart.png?dl=0 Whales are trying to get enough VET so they own a Mjolnir master node which can pay close to 1,000,000.00 a year if and when the price of VET gets to $25.00
See here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/bfgixylquemgtby/VET.jpg?dl=0 I honestly believe the price will climb well above $100 USD before Q2 2018 as VeChain is a game changing blockchain company in its approach to business relations first and adoption second. As you can see from my snapshot from 8AM this morning:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/2aeki6xbwdwjt75/Market.JPG?dl=0 I know many of you think that if you buy into VeChain now you are getting it at its all time high, but in a year you will look back at its current market Cap of 1.5B and you will be amazed at how undervalue it has been (this is my personal opinion and not financial advice). Now don’t take my word for it, always do your own research. I do highly recommend you watch the very popular Boxmining video on VeChain: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wH2G_44x4vw&t=767s as well as: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=42_YmVGs5MA&t=300s and most importantly the VeChain THOR Power Forged AMA: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IWoEsBQFozM
The opportunity here is mind boggling and while it goes without saying that I have a VET and would like to see it rise in price, I am sure this single post is not going to make even a small dent in its high volume trading and so I am not posting this for my own benefit but instead to open everyone’s eyes to this amazing opportunity. I am an Angular developer and I spentd hundreds of hours developing open source code which is posted on GitHub for the benefit of the Angular community and so I am used to giving back (you can see my Reddit ratings and post history of years). It’s just the first time I am doing the same for the Crypto cumminity, Happy new year and good luck, Sean.

Helldivers: Firebase Freedom! Update and Expansion Idea

Helldivers: Firebase Freedom! Update and Expansion Ideas

OP goes to: http://steamcommunity.com/app/394510/discussions/0/368542844479061753/
If a developer reads this say hello at least it would make ym day, thanks for making helldivers and hope to hear from you all with your criticisms!
This is a re-submission post of a few great ideas that was posted on the steam discussion forums and I am forwarding it to reddit so that the developers can see it possibly. The contents of this message below the break will remain largely except for certain ideas except the fire-base and super-planet redesigns (those are my takes and improvements) and terms that are Helldiver Lore / Programming and development friendly (such as assets that can be already used and are already within the game files or have pre-existing programming systems in place) changes made to the document by me are in bold text or underlined but relatively the document will go unchanged. This is to possibly help in keeping helldivers alive and keeping interest in a really good dungeon crawl style game. So below is a combination of Cad’s Grand-Scale Suggestions: Endgame content, and Stronghold Assaults / Super-Planets

Cad's Grand-Scale Suggestions: Endgame content, stronghold assaults and super-planets with edits and fixes by asoldier290 (Death Korps of Krieg)

I'm going to preface this with my love of Helldivers. I've been playing Helldivers for a while now and had been following the game since its earlier inception days on Sony devices. I never could quite appreciate it there, however, since I strictly play on PC. Naturally, that all changed with its Steam inclusion last year. I knew I'd fall in love with the Robert Heinlein Starship Troopers style setting immediately.... and boy, did I ever!
Arrowhead Game Studios has not neglected player feedback and suggestions with the deaf ear that befalls most of the gaming industry, either. It is to that end that I do something beyond my comfort zone and make a grandiose "mega suggestion" thread such as this. I understand that some of these ideas may not be my own, but I will compile them here nonetheless for one giant, single-stop list of content ideas.

Table of contents:

More Longevity Content
We all would like a greater incentive to level beyond thirty. Anything from new missions, Neat armor pieces and weapons are well and good but **those who attempt to hold up the community and stay interested wont continue to play and fine more fun and or challenging games to play. This also construes into a business model were you keep your product updated and healthy to bring in a fresh flow of customers and keep existing customers happy.
  • Possibly New Weapons:
Poison Gas Grenades: using the same animations as the smoke grenade with a green / yellow color enemies who travel through this grenade cloud will gain the poison effect but must be cautious cause the same can happen to the helldivers.
LAS – 23 “Javelin": We all love (or love to hate) laser weapons. They are utilitarian, jack-of-all-trades firearms that reward cautious, burst controlled fire discipline. This is where the LAS-23 comes into play as a heavy hitting laser equivalent to the railgun (but not with the same perks). The LAS-23 will fire a single non-piercing round of concentrated laser energy with the same damage as a railgun. What will make it stand out amongst its other laser and railgun brother is the fact it has a charge type magazine (much like the Arc-Thrower and Arc-Shotgun) and fires a large beam of energy (like the Illuminate snipers but with the standard laser beam effects). The Javelin will be a dangerous weapon to use, rewarding skillful trick-shots and perfect "line-em-up" moments but also comes at the cost of possibly damaging other helldivers in the path of the weapon much like the railgun. It would act much like its namesake counterpart: a weapon best used at the perfect opportunity. The weapon at its base would be a hindered Railgun that does not pierce and does not stun, but will have three upgrades, the first upgrade (upgraded Capacitor) will allow the weapon to charge much like the ARC-Shotgun or similar speeds. The second upgrade Focusing Lens will add the perk ‘Unstoppable’ unique to this laser based weapon only or an increased damage buff would equally be ok. And the third and final upgrade is Beam Refraction which using the games internal pre-established angle system will be able to bounce or curve the shot at slight angles as long as there not perfect 90 degree angles. This would require helldivers to aim for center mass or possibly have the outcome of reflecting the high powered shot towards a teammate or equipment. This beam would only last for two deflections and would only reflect on metal or flat surfaces (such as cyborg structures, shields, warlords or city walls and structures.)
Machine pistol omitted due to the final burst of the standard pistol makes the weapon pretty much automatic and pistols should not be a primary weapon anyways.
Warfront Veteran Rewards
Helldivers enjoy expressing themselves through little cosmetic goodies. How about a couple of sets not associated with leveling up or purchasing DLC? I'm talking some complete armor sets to match existing reward capes that reflect your dedication to Super-Earth and the spreading of managed democracy throughout the specific warfront. Something along the lines of "Unlock helmet at 5,000 (faction) kills, unlock armor at 15,000 (faction) kills, and unlock secondary unique cape at 25,000 (faction) kills. OR 500 Master Kills" It'd collaborate well with the idea of Helldive difficulty reward capes, and perhaps the sets could even be made to mesh together appropriately and attractively to celebrate BorgDivers, BugDivers, and SquidDivers.
Warfront Veteran Rewards Detailed:
  • Bug Exterminator: The idea behind this set is simple: you wear the armored carapaces of your enemies on your helldiver armor boosting morale and fear into the bug menace. Your Helldiver dons the hollowed carapace of a dead warrior and/or brood commander (maybe helm with scout wings see Aztec feather headdresses). You wear a menacing carapace skull as a helmet, various abdominal armor fragments on your body, and perhaps the permeable stomach armor of the Bug Master as a fabricated cape to show your dedication to protect humanity from the bug threat.
  • Cyborg Scrapper: Much like the idea of wearing bug remains as a potent psychological weapon, this set would have you adorn fallen remains of cyborgs striking fear into the cyborgs that there is no adaption to humanity. Your Helldiver would be covered head-to-toe in metal scrap pieces, prosthetic assorted plates, and perhaps a dog's mechanical skull for a helmet. Cape could be a disconnected dangling wires, or chains, or perhaps something else entirely such as the linked tank treads of the Cyborg Master.
  • Illuminate Aegis: Having bested the illuminate foe countless times, the crew aboard your personal starship have begun to unlock the secrets of illuminate technology and armor technology. You are clad in a sophisticated hybridization of illuminate-human white armor with gold and black helldiver emblems. Your cape could be holographic and translucent from the technology of slaying the great eye so many times.(orange with helldiver skull logo): the future of fashion!
New Stratagems
We have a few ideas for specialized stratagems that could be circulated into the planetary reward list or added to specific level rewards (30 – 50). Relatively small additions that could have a lasting impact on gameplay. I do not want to alter the balance and flow of Helldivers so significantly that these become "go-to" stratagems like the shield generator or EAT rockets, but additions to the plans of the Stronghold Assault Missions and Super-Planets Below:
New Stratagems Defined:
  • Explosives Bandolier: I'm not talking a separate slot for grenades. That has been brought up aplenty; though I would quite enjoy that opportunity among other helldivers to use more grenades than the standard two. Instead, how about a stratagem that allows the user to carry twice as many fragmentation grenades? Let's go from two to four and really even the score against Cyborgs, Bugs, and Illuminates and increase the odds of survival for Stronghold Assaults / Super Planets. Should grenades receive their own slot, this feature's usefulness could be further compounded with incendiary grenades, stun grenades, and smoke grenades.
  • Stealth Backpack: This is for the lone-wolf Helldivers out there. Perhaps every few minutes or so, your "take cover" and “Help [spacebar while downed]” command is replaced with a cloaking field that obscures the player from patrols or alerted enemies using the same assets from the displacement halo but blue in color. It would certainly not last long (3-5 Seconds) and be of little use in point-blank range of enemy forces but could remove agro in a desperate situation such as being downed. Naturally, firing while camouflaged would disable the stealth effect. It is the ultimate "retreat and re-plan" tool and nothing more than that.
  • 30mm Anti-Material Rifle: Something of a cross between the 20mm Dum-Dum auto-cannon and a RL-112 recoilless rifle stratagem. You are stationary not only when aiming, but firing as well. It decimates infantry and does light damage to heavily armored targets such as impaler bugs and cyborg IFVs warlords etc. Essentially, it's a handheld mini-AT emplacement that does not explode but causes alternative damage to heavy units with a 3 round magazine. It will not pierce enemies and, instead, damage on impact. Think a big, burly CR-9 Suppressor with the dum-dum model with a 3 round ammunition reserve and (perhaps) a bolt-action "fire one at a time" role (not spammable).
  • Satellite Radio Backpack: Take one for the team and support your team. Sacrifice a compelling backpack alternative like a shield generator or jump-jet pack for a priority-frequency radio backpack that reduces stratagem cooldown times across the board for all Helldivers. This won't exactly be a Stratagem Priority, but it'll mesh well as a half-alternative with said perk and provide your team a valuable resource of giving 10% cooldown reduction and 1 second call down timer reduction for all helldivers. Perhaps it, through upgrades, reduces global stratagem cooldowns by up to 15% and Timers by 1.5 seconds (does not affect instant cast items).
Note the following section has been heavily edited and expanded by me and I gave up adding bold marks, to see the OP please visit the URL located at the top of the post.
Stronghold Assault Missions
Retaliation strikes and Enemy Masters: you either love them or hate them. How about we take the fight to them, this time? Stronghold Assault Missions are the offensive analog to the defensive nature "wave based survival" retaliation strikes. These are unique maps (like the enemy masters) featuring faction themed headquarters for bugs, cyborgs, and illuminate forces. As Helldivers, we deploy covertly outside their perimeter and plan to assault these firebases directly. Instead of maps involving wandering patrols scouting out for us, we are instead faced with pre-defined enemies that guard corridors, defensive entry-points, and specific objectives. Sabotage is the name of the game here, folks: sabotage and weaken the enemy's hold on the sector by taking on these extremely difficult action packed-based mission maps.
Essentially, a Stronghold Assault Mission involves:
  • Acquiring 175 Influence (like the 50 for a master, the high number is to prevent spamming and requires at least 1 master plus a Helldive to access) to begin the assault on these firebases which will then be available for three hours. The location of this mission will be next to the Enemy master Mission below the row of planets, Rewards for this mission will total out to be +350 Community Influence with a bonus +150 personal influence for completing the mission.
  • Successfully assaulting a "Cyborg Firebase”, “Illuminate WMD Factory”, and “Bug Super-Nest” pertaining to the helldiver lore in defense of super-earth. What is unique to these maps if the fact that stratagems and air support (such as bombs and strafing runs) cannot be called mid mission or while ‘inside’ a structure much like the cyborg EMP zone that prevents stratagems. This means that at the start of the mission helldivers will need to use strategy and bring equipment such as ammo backpacks, shields, and medical perks to sustain their lives until they hit a resupply zone within the firebase. This means that helldivers that perish in-between these points will not be able to reinforce until a open area is reached.
  • Upon Mission Start, helldivers will spawn in a preparation area outside the facility, this area is unique to other concepts of helldiver mission because THIS WILL BE THE ONLY PLACE WERE STRATEGEMS WILL BE ALLOWED TO DROP excluding predetermined resupply points (IE landing pads for cyborgs, Holes in the roof for Bugs, Temple entrances for illuminates). Once helldivers are ready they will approach the start of the gauntlet or entrance of the facility. The entrance of the facility is considered outside and air support can be called but while inside your air support will not work.
  • Upon reaching the Facility entrance (much like an enemy master) a non-ending alert phase will start and numerous high level faction specific mobs will emerge from infantry points (such as cyborg barracks doors, illuminate teleport pads, or bug holes) The entrance will always be guarded by 4-5 of the highest level mob of that faction (such as Warlords and Hulks for cyborgs, Illusionists and a Council member for Illuminates, and Impalers/behemoths and Brood Commanders for Bugs).
  • During the entrance assault phase helldivers must contend with faction specific external defenses such as Turrets and Automated AT emplacements for cyborgs, Barriers for Illuminates and for bugs a constant relentless non-stop supply of cannon fodder infantry for bugs (although all factions have constant enemies bugs should have the most and should be daunting enough to where helldivers might run out of ammo constantly). Helldivers must disable the external defenses / doors by Disabling power generators (cyborgs) and destroying shield beacons (illuminates) or detonating a bomb to break resin seals on bug hives (all objectives can be completed with Arrow inputs or with a well-timed hellbomb only)
  • Once helldivers have breached the entrance the mission goes to Sabotage Phase, were helldivers must travel the expansive firebases and reach the end of the firebase to detonate a special hellbomb (Nicknamed Liberty’s Bell) along the way there will be optional objectives that will reduce either the number or type of enemy that spawns within the firebase (which should be substantial especially for bugs) For cyborgs destruction of facilities such as Initiate barracks will reduce the amount of Initiates and Immolators found on the map (but does not remove them completely) for each faction there are key structures which are outlined below. Destruction of these facilities using specific weaponry or VIA Arrow input bombs or commands will reduce the ‘Finale’ during Liberty Bells Drop.
  • Once Helldivers have reached the end of the Firebase (Either completing objectives along the way or bypassing them) they will reach the Firebase Center, A Datacenter (server tower) for Cyborgs, WMD Constructor for Illuminates (Although looks like rings on the ground), or a Bug Super Nest (Huge stack of eggs and gross stuff) Depending on what helldivers completed the finale can be moderately easy or very challenging. Helldivers upon entrance must use a pre-determined beacon (like a shuttle calling pillar) to drop a special Hellbomb known as Liberty’s Bell (a large black and gold hellbomb with Super-Earths logo and the Helldiver Logo with the word “For Freedom” Scribbled on it for fun, through the structure and must be armed by helldivers in four phases. This room is square and large in nature, (or round for bugs) and has many entrances or holes were infantry can enter the arena. Depending on the completed objectives the number of type of infantry will increase or decrease the mob spawns per phase (but will still remain a challenge)
  • Phase 1 the Liberty Bell is called: This phase is 30 seconds and helldivers must fight a combination of mixed light and medium armored enemies with a few heavies now and then. It should be noted that during all phases there will be a nonstop constant supply of enemies that CANNOT be halted. Depending on completed objectives more or less of harder enemies will spawn more frequently (example, warlord fabrication factory not destroyed? Expect 2-3 warlords per mob drop because you were lazy) Once the 30 seconds has passed Liberty’s Bell will drop through the roof and nest in a specific spot in the room (the center) and helldivers must ascend a platform (much like a truth transmitter) to input detonation codes. After phase one is complete the roof is now open and helldivers can call on support stratagems and reinforce during Phases 2 and 3.
  • Phase 2 Detonation Code One Input: A Large String of arrows is required to input the first arming code of Liberty’s Bell, the code should be randomized and no part should ever be the same to prevent external programs from inputting the code quickly, after input of the code a Confirmation sound “Detonation Code Accepted. Stand-By for Secondary Input” another timer of 15-20 Seconds is displayed til the second code can be inputted. During this phase more enemies will spawn constantly and depending on objectives completed more or less of the type of enemies spawned will appear. These enemies should be light-armored to med armored enemies with heavies and tanks mixed in.
  • Phase 3 Detonation Code Two Input: Just like Phase 2 another large randomized string appears with even more enemies spawning these enemies should be medium to heavy units with more prominent tanks mixed in. After input of the code a Confirmation sound “Detonation Code Accepted. Stand-By for Final Detonation Sequence” another timer of 15-20 Seconds is displayed til the second code can be inputted.
  • Phase 4 Liberty’s Bell is Activated: Unlike the other phases Liberty’s Bell Activates and begins a countdown timer of 60 Seconds, Helldivers must exit through the Finale tunnel which will have various amounts of mobs assaulting them with a shuttle at the end of the hallway / exit on a helipad, temple platform or cave exit helldivers have 60 seconds to have at least one person make it to the shuttle as no revives are allowed (from being inside the structure again). Once all helldivers (or survivors) enter the shuttle an announcement plays “Liberty’s Bell Successfully Primed. Let Freedom Ring.” And a large explosion occurs while helldivers take off.
Rewards Breakdown: (based on a 3 star level) + Objectives Completed: (List Main objective Destruction of 10,000 EXP + Successful Extractions +500 EXP PER Helldiver + Low Death Score +750 EXP for less than 6 deaths, +1000 for Zero Deaths , +0 for more than 8 Deaths + Completion Bonus +350 Community Influence + Planet Reward +150 Personal Influence

Bomb can be destroyed and has a fairly large HP pool, if bomb is destroyed helldivers fail subtask.
Bug Super-Nest Outline: (Note Bug nests should have x2 the normal amount of mobs used in other facilities destruction of sub tasks is extremely critical for this faction!)
  • Entrance: Vanguards, Warriors, Elites Brood Commanders, and strong defensive line of Super Elites with infantry points Cave Entrance must be destroyed to proceed
  • Vanguard Hollows (Scouts, Vanguards, Stalkers, Warriors and a Brood CommandeTank now and then ) Helldivers activate a central bomb for 45 seconds and waves of enemies spawn within that timeframe, once bomb detonates will reduce the amount of selected mobs In finale. • Chamber of the Leviathan’s (scouts, Elites, Stalkers (1 or 2 at a time) Brood Commanders, and frequent Impalers/ Tanks / and Behemoths) Helldivers activate a central bomb for 45 seconds and waves of enemies spawn within that timeframe, once bomb detonates will reduce the amount of selected mobs In finale. Bomb can be destroyed and has a fairly large HP pool, if bomb is destroyed helldivers fail subtask.
  1. Super-Planets (enemy regional home worlds) Last but not least, we are left with so called "Super-Planets". Much like what Super Earth stands for us humans, the bugs, cyborgs, and illuminates of a sector likely have a planet with which they use as a base of operation for their sector assaults (Not the Stronghold / Firebase Assaults). These are the shortcuts for claiming a region if things are not going your way in a specific sector as your enemies can attack cities and claim a region you can attack theirs and claim the region. They integrate everything that you have had to learn up to this point and pose the ultimate challenge for you and your team and the community at large. These insurmountable obstacles are not for the faint of heart! After a region triggers a super-planet assault a new planet event becomes available just like a city defense event, these planets are the super planets of the enemy and if you conquer it within a specific time period you will instantly capture the region, but these planets are not easy and are very limited in time and communities will have to work for these planets when they popup, cause if the planet is not captured in a specific time limit that opportunity will be lost for that specific region. They are the inverse of defense missions with the same rewards as a defense mission and setup; just on the assaulting side of the house as 2 hours 30 minutes are given for a defense the same is given to an assault.
If the community can pull together and liberate the planet before the timer runs out the region will be captured, if the community fails the assault the enemy faction has the opportunity to launch an assault on the Super-Earth Capitol of that sector.
End of Heavily Modified Section.
  1. Other Ideas Were all of these ideas to be implemented in an update, it would no doubt be a titanic full-scale update. With such a large amount of new content, it might be hard to grasp where to even start. Perhaps some adjustments could be made to the tutorial or a lengthy synopsis dialed-in by Arrowhead staff.
If I come across more ideas, I might jot them down here for peer criticism. Asoldier290's Note: I had a really fun time rethinking these ideas, Ill come across the same thoughts ill mark them here.
Conclusion
In conclusion, I have a childlike imagination paired with a tremendous respect for Arrowhead Game Studios. I am aware that, ultimately, the bottom line rests with publisher Sony. I know that, as a company of fellow gamers, Arrowhead would like to implement player suggestions and feedback where applicable. I thank you for taking the time to read this (lengthy) rambling. Now, I return to fighting for democracy and SUPER EARTH!
Remember: democracy is life itself.

ASoldier290's Remarks (Death Korps of Krieg)

I personally am in love with this game and I would hate to see it fade away into existence, as noted by an earlier post that I saw on this Subreddit "the vets are losing interest because theres no new content" well heres myself and Cad's ideas laid out for the developers in what I would like to call the next possible expansion to Helldivers. I spent a few hours thinking about balance and working on the ideas and I thik it can be completed with existing assets within the games files, there are doors within the tutorial and with a few lines of code the doors and bombs and events can be timed. The only NEW content that would need to be added is a Liberty's Bell, Warfront Veteran Armor's + Special Cape, and add two or three audio files for the voice of liberty bell (same as the announcement voice for the ship). If a developer does read this please just say hello or we read it and ill be happy enough.
Best Regards,
Death Korps of Krieg Guardsman
